Our story

No33 opened in 2006 to provide a hub for the people of Norwich to unite in their passion for brunch, coffee, and cake. Today, we’re a well-loved brunching institution, known for its queue (and being worth the wait).

The recipe hasn’t changed since day one: food we love eating, made with the best sustainable and local produce from suppliers on our doorstep, served with a warm welcome.

33 In The Park brought the same welcome to Chapelfield Gardens: brunch under the trees, bookable tables, a big terrace, and dogs welcome inside and out.

Two cafés today, a third on the way. We can’t wait to see you soon.

Local, sustainable produce from Norfolk suppliers

With an array of incredible suppliers on our doorstep, we endeavour to source the best sustainable and local produce to ensure our dishes are bursting with flavour.

Bread, eggs, dairy and veg arrive from around Norfolk through the week, and everything sweet is baked in our own kitchen, every day.

A family business, from our family to yours

No33 has always been a family business at heart. It began in Norwich with a love of good food, great coffee and that lovely feeling you get from a busy café full of people. What started as one little café at 33 Exchange Street has grown over the years, first to No33 in the Park, and now, rather excitingly, all the way to Cambridge.

But despite growing, we’re still very much us.

No33 is owned and run by Nichola and Madelie, and our family has grown up alongside the business. Our children have spent countless hours in the cafés over the years: eating pancakes, carrying boxes, folding napkins, washing up, helping out when things get busy and, as they’ve got older, becoming part of the team themselves. No33 has never really been something that sits separately from family life; the two have always been wonderfully tangled together.

Next stop, Cambridge

A huge milestone for our family

Opening in Cambridge feels like a huge milestone for our family. It’s our first No33 outside Norwich and, while 35 Sidney Street may be a new home for us, we want it to have the same warmth, personality and slightly imperfect charm that has always made No33 feel like No33.

We hope it becomes somewhere Cambridge makes its own: somewhere to meet friends, bring the family, celebrate something, nurse a coffee, eat a ridiculously good brunch or simply feel looked after for an hour or two.
